How to prepare for your cleaning
A few small things ahead of time help me focus on what I do best — making your home shine.
Tidy up personal items
Please put away any personal items — clothes, toys, important documents — anything you wouldn't want moved. This lets me clean surfaces without disturbing your things.
Clear dishes off counter spaces
Clearing the sink and countertops of dishes helps me clean quicker and more effectively.
Provide access
Make sure I have the necessary instructions, keys, or codes to access your home. If you have any alarm systems, please let me know how to disarm them.
Broken or delicate items
Please let me know about anything fragile, damaged, or off-limits so I can clean with extra care.

Hello, I'm Gia — founder of Touch of Clean
I have enjoyed cleaning from a young age, whether that was cleaning up after my pet rabbits, or organizing spaces for family and friends. My first job was a hotel housekeeper, where my efficiency and thoroughness shined. Later I spent 3.5 years working in a vet clinic — it was in that role that my compassion and attention to the small things were noticed by my peers.
For 3 years afterward, I was an independent contractor, working with area companies in residential, vacation, commercial, and post-construction spaces. The need to strike out on my own was driven by a desire to focus on providing the ‘touch’ I often saw missing — both in cleaning and in client relationships.
Starting this business has been a dream come true. I've always wanted to work for myself doing something I enjoy, and now I get to help others while doing it. I know how personal it is to have someone in your home — I take that responsibility seriously, treat every space with care and respect, and my goal is to leave your home feeling fresh and stress-free.
